fortunately damaged left hand, not right. doc 3/19 and less grim than thought: new bandage for 4 wks–now only thumb & forefinger free, then off! after that 2 fingers taped for couple weeks more. no surgery.
did 45 mins city walking 3/20.
re-started control of chocolate intake on 3/19.
constipation no longer problem.
re-visit treadmill tomorrow, 3/22.
